Global Flavor – Local Pride

New World Bistro Bar features “Chopped” Champion Ric Orlando’s own style of Global Soul Food. The healthy, lustily seasoned and assertive dishes of the American Melting Pot.

Many of our ingredients are regional, organic and sustainable and that list keeps growing! We use fresh local tomatoes in summer, dried in winter, fresh corn in summer, polenta in winter… Simple stuff, right? We can all live better if we begin to expect restaurants to make great meals without encouraging chemists to invent indestructible foods.

We Think Before We Buy!

We buy regional and natural meats from Northeast Family Farm Cooperative, Niman Ranch and Naturewell. Our Chicken is FreeBird. Our seafood is sustainable as recommended by Sea2Table.com and Monterey Bay Seafood Watch. In season produce is as local as possible.
Here is a list of some of the local growers and producers that you will encounter on New World’s menus. This list is kept as up-to-date as possible to reflect our seasonal menu and daily specials. However, our Chefs frequently stop at local farmer’s markets and we can’t possibly keep up with all the cool stuff they’re picking up! You’ll just have to come in and check out the menu…
